In guzheng playing, the mastery and proficiency of guzheng fingering directly affects the performance of the repertoire. For beginners, there are many fingering mistakes that are easily overlooked in guzheng fingering practice. Today, I will take out the common mistakes for analysis and discussion.
①Can't follow the beat
When practicing, you need to listen carefully to whether the timing of the notes you play is accurate, including quarter notes, eighth notes, rests, skips, etc. If students have not mastered the method of finger movement, but also take into account the change of rhythm, there will be a feeling of neglecting the other. In this case, you can ignore the rhythm for the time being, and simply do four-finger playing, each fingering practice. Do a good job of attaching the strings, leaving the strings.
②The fingers will be warped
When many people play, other fingers will stick out unconsciously. This tilting out will greatly slow down the sensitivity of the finger lift. In this situation, slow down the speed and concentrate on the vertical flicking, falling and leaving of the fingers.
③The thumb is not flexible
The thumb is generally cumbersome and inflexible, like the flexion of the knuckles or the invagination of the palm joints when we write and write, which makes the whole palm stiff and causes the thumb to be unable to move freely. If this happens, it is recommended to leave the guzheng, gently stand with four fingers on the edge of the table, hang the thumb alone in the air, straighten it and do a contraction movement, so as to experience the relaxation of the thumb and no longer sink into the palm joint.
④ Improper raising of fingers
Raising the fingers sometimes involves raising both the wrist and arm, which is caused by insufficient relaxation of the wrist and fingers. The way to improve is to relax the fingers, wrists and forearms to avoid muscle fatigue.
⑤ The whole palm is depressed
This is caused by the palmar joints being so low that the fingers cannot stand up. If so, you can use the index finger of the other hand to support the metacarpal bone of the middle finger from the palm up, and the hand shape will become normal.
⑥The fingertips stand unsteadily and sink
If the fingertips are unstable and concave when the other fingers are lifted and lowered, you can use the other hand to grasp the fingertips to bend them forward roundly, and then hold up the fingertips and raise the fingers along the way. This kind of auxiliary exercise is even more necessary when the weak 4 fingers are sometimes even completely unable to lift.
In order to avoid the occurrence of the above wrong fingerings, attention should be paid to details and strict requirements in many exercises, in order to achieve a standard and precise playing level.
