There are four main points of cymbal playing skills:
1. Double-click, the two cymbals hit at the same time, so that the music continues naturally. This strike makes a loud sound.
2. Grinding and hitting, the cymbals on both sides hit each other, so that the music continues naturally. The sound of this strike is hoarse.
3. Smouldering, immediately after the strike, stick the two cymbals on the chest (that is, "Shayin"), so that the residual sound cannot be continued, making the pronunciation short and dull.
4. Click, use a drumstick (soft or hard) to strike a cymbal, and the sound is bright. The drumsticks can also be rolled or smothered.
