1. Guqin likes low temperature. It is best not to put the guqin near the heater or fire in winter. Guqin is easy to crack and deform when it is heated.
2. Guqin should be kept clean. Guqin is most afraid of oil fume. Strings contaminated by oil fume will change the tone. Also prevent dust, wipe frequently, and keep the body clean.
3. When the guqin is not playing, it is best not to lay it flat, it should be hung on the wall or standing beside the wall, and of course it can also be placed in the closet.
4. Due to the difference in climate between the north and the south, the qin in the south is easy to crack when it goes to the north, and the qin from the north is easy to deform when it goes to the south.
5. Guqin is good for indoor temperature adjustment. Its panel is carved out of a whole piece of wood. There is humidity and climate in one place. If the guqin is not properly maintained, it will be deformed or cracked. The dry city in the north must not be too close to the heating. 

In short, the care of guqin should pay attention to: prevent exposure to the sun, moisture, and collision. When going out or not playing, if there is no box, it is best to wrap it with cloth or other materials. Because the inner cavity of the guqin is large, and the wood is exposed, especially the soft panel material, it is very easy to absorb the moisture in the air, so it is best to cover the sound hole when it is not playing in rainy days or yellow mold seasons to prevent the panel surface from getting damp. affect pronunciation.
