Quick skills can be said to be a headache in both the popular teaching of erhu and the professional training in professional colleges. Everyone is very envious of those fast hands and masters of dazzling skills, and they are very envious of those who can pull quickly. What I hear most is when students ask me, "Teacher, how can I pull fast". Well, this is actually a certain training method. Everyone knows that high-rise buildings are not built overnight. You can build dozens of high-rise buildings at once. All of them have to start building up layer by layer by laying the foundation. Then our rapid training also requires step-by-step practice. I think there are two methods.
First of all, there is a method no one is unfamiliar with, and that is slow training. Any fast technique needs to start with slow practice, so not only slow practice, I think a very necessary part is to add medium speed practice. The practice of the medium speed refers to the step-by-step speed-up practice. At the beginning of the practice, you can set the speed of half the original speed of the music or even slower. Many people accelerate to the original tempo of the song right after they finish the slowest speed, so you will find that when you play the original tempo, you will frequently make mistakes.
I analyzed the reason for this because everyone lacks medium-speed exercises from slow training to original speed, so it will lead to discomfort in your finger muscles. The medium-speed exercise is a very good transition exercise. Only by gradually progressing each speed from slow to fast training will your hand have a process of adapting the finger muscles from slow training to fast training.
For example, if we practice at the speed of 70 for about 5 times, then it is recommended to practice the speed of 80, 90, 100, 110 again, and the speed of +10 will progress upward until the original speed. At this time, you will feel the muscles of your fingers. It is very relaxing and does not feel very strenuous. When you get to the original speed practice, you need to consolidate the practice repeatedly, or even practice more, so this is a step-by-step speed-up exercise.
The second method is the unit practice. What is a unit training exercise? For example, in any piece of music, there are more difficult passages, and there are so-called relatively fast passages, so when you practice, you should take out single practice, or even practice paragraphs and sentences.
The so-called unit training means that, for example, two times as a unit or five times as a unit, continuous consolidation exercises. If there is no mistake or break for five times, this will be considered a pass. If you pull it four times in a row, it is very correct, but when it comes to the fifth time, it can't hold on because of endurance problems, and there is a little small If the flaw is pulled off and pulled wrong or stuck there, then these five times must be repeated. That is to say, the quick skills of the erhu should be trained to turn contingency into inevitability.
There is a certain degree of contingency in everyone's practice when they are right for a while. It does not mean that your skills have passed the test. However, only if you are correct five times in a row, ten times or more, and there is no error, can you explain your skills. It has passed the test, and it can withstand scrutiny and tests, so that it can "endure hundreds of battles".
Middle-aged and old-aged friends can slow down the music a bit when practicing fast music, and adjust it according to their own endurance and finger flexibility. As long as the music is played well, it does not necessarily need to be played at the speed of the score.
