Jue Lie is a single-reed gas-sounding musical instrument of the Lisu nationality. In addition to playing it during festivals and entertainment, Lisu youth often use Jue Lie to express their love to their sweethearts. Best at playing slow, lyrical, beautiful folk songs or love songs.

When playing a duel, the tube body is placed upright. The thumb of the left hand presses the back hole, the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger press the upper three holes, and the index finger and ring finger of the right hand press the two holes. The mouth contains two mouthpieces, which can be pronounced by blowing and breathing.

The supervisor can play the melody notes, which are listed as: e, g, a, c1, d1, e1, g1. The secondary pipe emits a sustained tone as a harmony, and the barrel tone is g1, which is the same as the main highest tone. During the playing, the subpipe sound is like a long colorful belt, floating above the music, making the melody rich and full. Sometimes the body is also placed horizontally, only the chief is played, and only the chief melody sound is issued, with a range of ten degrees.

The sound of the quarrel is soft and mellow, as beautiful as a song. The playing method and technique are the same as those of the Jingpo Zhanxi. Often used for solo or accompaniment, it can be played by both men and women. The music includes "Quite Column Tunes" and so on.
