Today, I would like to introduce to you a few small ways to practice erhu in daily life:
Blind pulling is the process of playing the piano, just like practicing computer keyboard typing, try not to stare at the hands with both eyes. Long-term blind-pulling practice can bring several benefits. (1) It is conducive to training the left hand's sense of pitch and position; (2) It is easy to relax; (3) It is conducive to full concentration; (4) It is convenient to adjust one's own playing image naturally.
The bow segment is based on the bowing parts required for the performance of the music, different parts produce different sound effects, and at the same time ensure the continuity of pushing and pulling the bow. Under normal circumstances, the bow is usually carried in the middle section. When playing, it is often necessary to change the bow according to the requirements of certain chapters, or middle, upper, lower, or all-round in order to show the ups and downs and continuity of the music. For adult amateurs, it is easy to overlook this point. Many beginners only focus on pounding in the middle. This mechanical reciprocating habit of bowing is very harmful. Boldly move the bow to find the feeling, so as to improve your bow-handling skills as soon as possible.
Strong bow force, large output volume; weak bow force, low output volume. Everyone knows this truth, but the actual control ability of the bow is not a day's work. Some have strong strength and great sound, which can fully demonstrate their skills; some have small strength and weak sound, which is quite incompetent; some can be pulled loudly, but the two ends are generally thick, lacking rhythm and charm; , but the volume is not enough, the shock force is poor and it is easily submerged by the environment. The purpose of training bow strength is to solve the actual control skills of "priority, undulation and roundness" in bowing.
Fingering three points, bowing three points, rhythm not deducting four points, the wrong rhythm will cause the performance to be completely lost, seriously affecting the effect of the music, and it is also a problem that non-professionals are prone to make. Especially in the case of clear performances, it is easy to appear blurry, and the rhythm is no longer understood, which is often referred to as "wandering." The rhythm of the whole piece is reasonable, and it is the most basic requirement for singing, dancing and any instrumental music. If the rhythm is always wrong, the skills will not help. This is actually a problem of musical literacy, which must be improved by accumulating the sense of music. The pianist with poor rhythm should usually play more songs, preferably with accompaniment to guide.
When I first learned erhu, I remember the teacher once said something like this: It is a skill to play the qin according to the score. Thinking about it now, it does. According to the score, first the score comes into view, then the brain reacts, and finally it can be played by both hands. As for memorization, the brain controls the playing with both hands directly, which saves the process of looking at the score with one eye. Another advantage of memorizing music is that the eyes are omitted, so that the eyes can see the pressing fingers of the left hand and the bowing of the right hand, which can also improve the performance.
