Wagelo is a Wa breathed musical instrument. The Wa language is also known as Wei Geli, Zhu, and the Han people call it Xiao Dudi. The shape of the Vagelo is similar to that of the Han shepherd's flute. The tube body is made of bamboo, with a length of 37 and an outer diameter of 1.9 cm at the upper end.
The end of the tube is left with a joint, and the wall of the tube is opened with a semi-arc-shaped gap inward, and thin bamboo sticks are padded on both sides to form a rectangular channel. There is an oval sounding hole on the front of the tube body near the mouthpiece, and there are four pressing holes in the middle of the tube body. The upper end of the pipe is the mouthpiece. On the outside of the pipe wall at the mouthpiece, a semi-circular gap is cut along the bamboo pattern, and a thin bamboo stick is placed on each side (the head is big and the tail is small), so that a rectangular hole is formed in the middle, and the lower part of the hole is cut diagonally. Mouth, with an oval pronunciation hole in the front near the orifice. The inside of the mouthpiece is arc-shaped, and there is no flute plug. The lower surface of the front of the tube body is flattened, and there are four sound holes on it. Some Vaglos also use bamboo tubes with knots at the top of the tube.
