Quack, the Miao people sing their musical instruments. The Han people call it Layindi. Popular in Xilin, Napo and other places in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The gasu tube body is made of bamboo and is made of thin bamboo tube without knots. The general tube length is 36 cm, the outer diameter of the upper tube opening is 1.6 cm and the inner diameter is 1.2 cm, and the lower tube opening is 1.4 cm in outer diameter and 1 cm in inner diameter.
Trim off 3/4 of the 2 cm tube wall at the top of the tube, extend the remaining tube wall down by 6 cm, trim the skin into a flat surface, pad with thin bamboo strips on both sides, and cover it with a length of 8 cm and a width of 1 cm. Bamboo slices are bundled with strings to form a rectangular air intake channel with a width of 0.5 cm and a height of 0.15 cm. Directly to the middle of the airway, open an inverted isosceles triangle stomata that penetrates the bamboo and the tube wall. Below the hole (the top of the corner) between the tube wall and the bamboo, a small bamboo piece is placed horizontally as an air-distribution valve. The air valve adjusts the tone and volume. There are six circular sound-pressing holes on the front of the pipe body. The sixth hole is opened at 1/2 of the total length of the pipe body, 18 cm from both ends, and the distance between the sixth hole and the lower end pipe is equidistant. Cut out the first to fifth holes by 3 cm.
