Huang Jianhong studied under Wan Qixing, a famous erhu master in China. He has been rooted in the front line of erhu production workshops for nearly 20 to 30 years and served as the president of the Mei Village Erhu Association.

In 2012, Bu Guangjun was awarded the title of "International Outstanding Qin Master". In 2017, he was awarded the title of "Three Belts" Expert for Local Talents in Jiangsu Province. In 2019, he was awarded the title of Outstanding Local Talents in the "Taihu Talent" Program of Wuxi City. In recent years, he has formed a team to lead relevant members to actively explore and practice the development and promotion of green erhu.
