However, with the development of technology, the field of erhu performance is also expanding. Modern works have weakened the concept of key, and it is not enough to use the first key solfa method to read notation and use key to control pitch. From a developmental point of view, erhu players should master the reading skills of both the first key and the fixed key, and use the method of combining tones and intervals to control the intonation.
