The inclination of the dulcimer bass bridge to the right mountain pass is caused by the long-term right-hand tuning of the dulcimer. Because the tuning of the dulcimer is to fix the left side of the strings and adjust the right side, the increasing force on the strings is mainly pulled to the right side. When the strings are wound through the top of the bridge, due to pressure, friction and other reasons, the bridge will be removed. Gradually pull and tilt to the right, and over time, the overall bridge bar is inclined to the right.

When this problem is more serious, you can loosen the strings on the bass bridge, rearrange the bridge and intentionally tilt it slightly to the left by 2 to 3 degrees and then re-tune it. Do not attempt to hit the piano bridge with hard objects such as a wrench, which will cause new problems such as damage to the piano dock and breakage of the piano bridge.
