The tube flute is a Korean fringe air-sounding instrument. It is popular in Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and other provinces, especially in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture.
When the tube flute is played, it is played vertically, and the player can take a sitting or standing position. The thumb of the left hand presses the back hole, the index finger and ring finger press the upper two holes, and the index finger and ring finger of the right hand press the two holes. Adjusting the opening and closing of the membrane hole cover can change the timbre. All openings can make the timbre wide and bright, otherwise, the timbre will be soft. When playing, the head is often shaken from side to side, causing the pronunciation to vibrate. There are many kinds of flute flute, such as F key, bB key, etc., and the super blowing range can reach two octaves. The playing skills are mainly vibrato and portamento, and the timbre is full of changes. Often used for solo or unison, the repertoires are mostly folk tunes, such as "Aslang Song". When playing solo, stick drums and round drums are often used to accompany the music. The music often goes from slow to fast, and stops abruptly when it reaches the climax. It is unique and distinctive.
