The sibus is a Kazakh fringe air-sounding instrument. Also translated as the amount of Sbuzi, the amount of Sbis. Popular in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Altay, Burqin, Tacheng, Xinyuan, Wusu, Urumqi and other places.
Before blowing the forehead of the sbus, first wet the inner wall of the pipe body with water to make the pronunciation round. When playing, hold the pipe upright, press the upper hole with the index finger of the left hand (for those with four holes, press the upper two holes with the left hand), and press the two holes at the end with the thumb and index finger of the right hand. The mouth contains the mouthpiece and is slightly on the left side of the lips. Use the tip of the tongue to block most of the mouthpiece, leaving a small mouth for the blowing hole.
First make a long sound (continuous bass) from the larynx, and at the same time send the airflow into the tube, the air column in the impact tube vibrates to produce a barrel sound, and the air can be exchanged after blowing a sentence. The guttural sound is the same pitch as the barrel sound of the Spouses, which is the C sound, and the two are harmonious and integrated. The forewords of the three Kongsbos are listed as: c1, e1, g1, c2, and the treble is completely controlled by the breath, and can play the following overtones: d2, e2, f2, g2, a 2, b2, c3. Playing techniques include portamento, vibrato, appoggiance, etc. The sound range c1-c3 has two octaves.
Spouses are often used in solos and are suitable for listening from a distance. Good at playing lyrical music.
