Sweep and shake have one thing in common: most of them are used in the climax of the music, and the expression marks vary from f to ff, requiring fast speed and strong intensity.
The usual way of playing the string with the middle finger is the tick symbol ⌒, the middle finger plays the string inward; if the hook is connected, the symbol is ⌒... The middle finger goes from the outside to the inside and from the bottom to the top, and plucks the strings in sequence. For middle finger strumming, two or three strings are played inward at the same time, or even more strings are played as needed, which is called strumming.
Hook and sweep are different in terms of sound effects. Relatively speaking, the former is pronounced as a dot, and the latter is pronounced as a slice; the former is pronounced clearly and granularly, while the latter is pronounced as a film, and the sound is mixed.

Many zheng learners have a question: the finger-shaking technique was a bit wrong, but it was corrected later, so when swaying, the middle finger was always unable to strum, and it was difficult for the middle finger to touch the strings. In fact, it doesn't matter, as long as the index finger is gently pressed on the first section of the thumb, the thumb is facing outward, the elbow is as low as possible when shaking, the fingernail should not touch the string too deeply, and use the wrist to drive the finger.
