He is Feng Wenbiao, the representative inheritor of the autonomous region-level project "Yao Nationality Yellow Clay Drum Making Skills".
This studio with an area of nearly 300 square meters was built by Feng Wenbiao in 2017. In this studio, Feng Wenbiao and his team have designed and produced more than 3,000 traditional yellow mud drums, improved yellow mud drums, cultural and creative works of yellow mud drums and other Yao nationality handicrafts.

The production of yellow mud drums of the Yao nationality is a unique folk skill of the Yao nationality in Jinxiu Dayao Mountain. The Yao people make yellow mud drums and dance yellow mud drums when they do Panwang and worship Panwang. It has a history of more than 500 years. The craftsmanship of the Yao nationality's yellow mud drum was included in the autonomous region-level intangible cultural heritage list in 2018.

Feng Wenbiao was born in Langbangtun, Jiajiang Village, Sanjiao Township, Jinxiu County in 1989. His ancestors were all traditional carpenters, and he became interested in this industry since he was a child. When he was a child, he often made some airplanes, cars, swords and other toys out of wood to share with his friends. Therefore, the adults and children in the village liked this little but very enthusiastic "Little Little" very much.

When he was in junior high school, Feng Wenbiao was deeply shocked by the master's exquisite craftsmanship and the magical charm of the yellow clay drum after witnessing the master making the yellow clay drum with traditional tools. drum. In 2003, under the guidance of his master, Feng Wenbiao successfully produced the first pure handmade Yao nationality yellow mud drum in his life. Years later, recalling this triumphant scene, he would still laugh happily.
Feng Wenbiao, who is hard-working and highly qualified, also taught himself the construction and design of ancient buildings during his college days. During the summer vacation of 2011, he participated in the design and construction of the county's nationalization transformation. In June 2013, he graduated from university and participated in the construction of ancient wooden structures in Guigang Chinatown. In 2014, independently completed the design scheme of Jinxiu County Wind and Rain Bridge and participated in the project construction. Feng Wenbiao, who is in his early twenties, has already made his mark in the county's nationalized design circle.

After graduating from university, Feng Wenbiao gave up the opportunity to develop in a big city and resolutely chose to return to his hometown. With the support of his family, he and several like-minded young people established the "Xiang Shui Yao" Yao Culture Exhibition Center (later renamed "Splendid Xiu"). Yao Clothing Exhibition Center" and "Yao Huangnigu Cultural and Creative Studio"). Since then, Feng Wenbiao has devoted himself to researching the mechanized production of Yao Huangni drums, and has continuously improved and upgraded the original hand-made techniques.
In 2018, the Jinxiu County Cultural Center carried out the activity of "Huang Ni Inspiration (Exercise) Entering Campus" in primary and secondary schools in the county. After learning the news, Feng Wenbiao took the initiative to design an improved version of the yellow mud drum suitable for teenagers and children for this event. The design plan was approved in the first instance, and Feng Wenbiao went into production non-stop. In just two years, he produced more than 2,000 improved versions of Huangni Drums for the activity of “Huang Ni Drums (Casing) Entering Campus” in Jinxiu County.

"How can we make our yellow mud drums more popular and more popular among young people?" Feng Wenbiao constantly visited tourist cities around the world, analyzed the development trend of market demand, and decided to follow the general trend of cultural and tourism integration and develop the yellow mud drums. Cultural and creative tourism products. With this determination and concept, Feng Wenbiao led the team to design and produce a series of Huangnigu cultural and creative works, such as: Huangnigu wine cup, Huangnigu teacup, Huangnigu-shaped decorations, etc., and selected some works to participate in the area. In August 2020, Feng Wenbiao was elected as the fifth member of the CPPCC Laibin City. He said: "Culture is carefully brewed by time and energy. I am just a little carpenter. Culture needs to be passed on and developed together in different ways from generation to generation."
