Excellent traditional culture is the foundation of the inheritance and development of a country and a nation, and an important condition for the cultivation and development of people's patriotic feelings.

In order to learn and inherit Chinese traditional culture and improve the cultural quality of residents, the Chahe Community Education Center of Hongze District held a three-day training activity for female drummers from May 12th to 14th.

Rhythm is the soul of music, and Chinese drums are typical rhythmic instruments. Teacher Zhang Hehua, a provincial-level social sports instructor, first introduced the characteristics of Chinese drums to 21 students, allowing them to freely beat the big drum and feel the rhythm of Chinese drums. Then, Mr. Zhang combined theory with practice, adopted a combination of passionate demonstration and hands-on teaching, and had face-to-face discussions with the students. He explained and guided the students in basic routines such as drum manipulation, percussion techniques, footsteps, and drum tapping.

In recent years, Chahe Community Education Center has always been based on the public welfare, basicity, equality and convenience of public cultural services, meeting the cultural needs of the community as the starting point and foothold, constantly improving infrastructure construction, innovating and expanding service methods, combining with Civilized practice activities in the new era have successively carried out a series of mass cultural trainings such as square dance, waist drum, dragon dance, and stilts, and the construction of the public cultural service system has maintained a good momentum.

Through the activities, it not only enriched the residents' amateur spiritual and cultural life, inherited and promoted the excellent traditional culture, but also connected the friendship between the community residents and enhanced the cohesion of the community.
