Juejie, the Lisu people blow their breath and sing their musical instruments. Also known as Datitus. It is popular in Baoshan area of Yunnan Province, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture and other areas inhabited by Lisu people.
The Juejie tube body is made of bamboo, and the main and auxiliary tubes are tied side by side. The main tube is thicker and the auxiliary tube is slightly thinner, all of which are made of no-section bamboo tube.
The length of the tube is about 30 cm, and the mouth of the upper end is the mouthpiece. The mouth is blocked with an oblique wooden plug. A square pronunciation hole is opened at the bottom of the oblique opening of the wooden plug on the back of the tube body. There are six (front five and one back) circular sound holes in the supervisor, and the sub-pipe does not have a sound hole, and only makes one sound. The upper and lower ends of the main and auxiliary pipes are tied with silk threads and fixed with yellow wax.
