Liluo is a clarinet air-sounding instrument of the Li nationality. Popular in Baoting, Changjiang, Dongfang and other places in Hainan Province.
When playing Lilo, the pipe body is placed upright, and the upper and lower sound holes are pressed with both hands. The mouth contains the first reed of the tube, and the sound is made by blowing the air drum.
The eight-hole Liluo sound is listed as: d1, e1, f1, g1, a1, b1, c2, d2, e2, the sound is clear and mellow, and the Billy column is slender and full of mountain village flavor.
Lilo is often used for solo or accompaniment. It is an inseparable air-sounding instrument in the social activities and love life of young men and women of the Li nationality. Most of its songs are folk songs, minor or Lillet music.
