Naiyi, Uyghur, Uzbek, Tajik and other ethnic edge air-sounding instruments. Because it is made of wood, it is also called wooden flute, which is popular in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The tube body is made of wood, usually made of locally grown apple wood, apricot wood, and jujube wood. The wooden stick is hollowed out into a tube shape, with different specifications and sizes, ranging from 40 cm to 50 cm in length.

The diameter of the pipe is about 2.5 cm. There is a blow hole on the left end of the pipe body, no membrane hole, six sound holes in the middle, and two sound holes on the right end of the pipe. In a section of the flute cavity from the left end of the pipe body to the blowing hole, there is a flute plug about 0.5 from the blowing hole.
