We include both legato and articulation in our practice. For legato, we should pay attention to connecting the breath when playing each note, but make sure that the breath is not empty, the tongue should not be stiff during the articulation, the breath and legato should not be broken, and the fingers and tongue should not be broken. The coordination of the notes should be consistent, not one after the other, and the breath should move with the direction of the notes.
Pay attention to the color sense of the tone. Generally speaking, the color of the major key is brighter, and the color of the minor key is darker.
If the major is cheerful, the minor is melancholy, the major is strong, and the minor is lyrical. All tones are required to be averaged, and this average includes time average and dynamic average.
The average time value requires the fingers to move evenly, not fast or slow. Even strength requires that the strength of the breath be even. In addition to the natural rise and fall of the strength, don't emphasize a certain sound, the finger movement strength should be even, and the tongue strength should be even, whether it is single or double, whether it is the tip of the tongue or the base of the tongue, the strength has not changed abruptly. , if there is a change, it is just a gradual process. The sound quality of each sound must be the same. Some sounds must not be strong and some sounds are weak. Pay attention to practice.
Live finger practice is important, and it is recommended to practice it every day!
