It is shaped like a cylinder, the upper part is slightly larger than the lower part, and the button is on the top. The buttons are mostly in the shape of tigers, so they are often called "tiger buttons". Some people think that the chunyu with tiger buttons should be the relics of ancient Ba people. Most of the discovered bronze chins are from Sichuan, Anhui and parts of Hubei.
Since the Song Dynasty, it has been found many times in southern Hunan, western Hubei, eastern Sichuan and other regions. Now, the land has spread all over Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shandong and other eleven provinces and districts. Its shape is generally slightly elliptical, with large shoulders and small waist. No buttons, or ring buttons, bridge buttons with no decoration, or tiger-shaped, horse-shaped, dragon-shaped, and phoenix-shaped buttons. The most common is the tiger button chin.
