Lie is a folk musical instrument that is deeply loved by the Lahu people. Men and women, old and young, often carry it with them, and they are played regardless of time and place.
When playing, the tube body is placed vertically, the index finger and middle finger of the right hand press the two holes, the index finger and middle finger of the left hand press the two holes, the head of the tube is placed between the lips, the lower lip blocks the mouth of the tube, and the air enters the tube from the mouthpiece to vibrate the air column and pronounce.
The tone is listed as a pentatonic scale, using flat blowing and super blowing, the range is c1-g2, the flat blowing tone is soft, and the super blowing tone is bright. The six-hole column blows horizontally. Often used for solo.
