On the evening of September 15, the closing ceremony of the 13th China Art Festival was held in Xiong'an New District, Hebei Province, and various awards in the 17th Wenhua Award and the 19th Qunxing Award were presented. Among them, Sichuan Yangqin "Shu Road" selected by Sichuan Province stood out and won the "Stars Award". This is another achievement of Sichuan Province's art works in this art festival after the Sichuan Opera "The Magistrate of Straw Shoes" won the Wenhua Award of the 17th Chinese Culture and Art Government Award.
As the only national-level government award in the field of Chinese mass literature and art, the "Stars Award" was established in 1991 and is held every three years. Like the Wenhua Award, it is an important part of the China Arts Festival. The targets of the "Stars Award" are all non-professional grassroots people. The performance form has no threshold and is suitable for grassroots performances. The creation of works is not limited to themes, and has a strong "epoch", "fireworks" and "human touch". Since its establishment, it has launched more than 3,600 outstanding mass literary and artistic works, building a national platform for the broad masses of the people to display their artistic talents and realize their artistic ideals.
The 19th Qunxing Awards attracted 145 works from across the country, and 32 mass chorus teams entered the final stage. Among them, the folk art class Sichuan Yangqin "Shu Road" selected by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the music class singing "Bobassengen" and "Home Door", the dance class group dance "Just Love That Field", the square dance "Fighting Family", Seven works (teams) including the theatrical piece "On the Road" and the Four Seasons Wind Choir of the Chengdu Cultural Center appeared on the final stage of the "Stars Award", focusing on the outstanding achievements of Sichuan Qunyi's creation in recent years.
The Sichuan Yangqin "Shu Road", which won the 19th "Stars Award" this time, takes the famous piece "Shu Road is Difficult" as the breakthrough point, and sings through the dialogue between the poet Li Bai and the "Modern Ba Nu" across time and space. From "Shu Dao is difficult" to "Shu Dao smooth", from "Shu Dao poor" to "Shu Dao rich" ancient and modern great changes. The program also made use of Sichuan dulcimer's unique art form of sitting on the ground, with singing as the main, supplemented by speaking, and showed the vicissitudes of life on the stage, transforming the road of history and the road of humanities into the road of prosperity and the road of family and country. Judges approve.
It is worth mentioning that at the closing ceremony that night, the organizing committee announced that the 14th China Arts Festival will be held in Chengdu and Chongqing in 2025.
