If you master the suona playing skills correctly, you will quickly improve. We recommend you to use the following methods:
1. Circulation ventilation method
Circulation ventilation is generally not used, and is only used when playing certain sustained long notes. Its method is: control the breath with the strength of the lower abdomen, inhale through the nose, and exhale through the mouth. When the nose inhales, the ribs bulge, and the lower abdomen contracts inward to make the breath run upward, that is, the pressure of the lower abdomen is used to send the breath into the mouth; The abdominal muscles also gradually relax. Repeat the same process as above while taking the second breath. It should be noted that at the end of the first process, the second breath should be inhaled through the nose before the breath controlled in the mouth is finished, so as to make the connection between the two processes very coherent, and you cannot hear the ventilation. Traces, well maintained long tones. When you first practice this breathing method, you can prepare a reed and a bowl of water, then insert the reed tube into the bowl, and blow air into the reed according to the above-mentioned circulating ventilation method, until you can practice it in the water. Bubbling continuously, the method is basically right. After doing this, practice on the suona. When practicing, play the eighth hole sound first, and then practice other sounds.
2. Air vibrato
Air vibrato is a kind of chant, expressed by adding "~" to the note. Its playing method is: take a full breath, the lower abdomen strongly supports the breath and makes elastic contractions, and the sound produced slightly fluctuates, and the effect is like the vibrato on the strings. This kind of vibrato can be fast, slow and strong according to the requirements of the music. It is generally used for long notes, and sometimes its fluctuations can express the style of different nationalities or places.
3. Tooth vibrato
Tooth vibrato is also a kind of chanting sound, which is represented by adding the word "tooth" to the sound symbol "~". It is played by gently vibrating the root of the whistle with the lower teeth to make a vibrating sound. This kind of tooth chatter is mostly used in playing opera, folk art and music with strong folk style. It can be divided into two types: hard quivering and soft quivering: hard quivering is to directly touch the root with the teeth, and soft quivering is to put the lips between the teeth and the root. Tooth vibrato is often used on a single note, so pay attention to the evenness of the vibrato.
4. Finger vibrato
Finger vibrato is also called "finger flower" in the folk, and it is a very versatile technique. This technique is often used to express cheerful and warm emotions, and it is even more varied when used to decorate the emotions expressed by certain sounds in some lyrical pieces. In playing, it is characterized by the ability to clearly hear the rapid alternation of two adjacent tones. Although the alternating action is very fast, the edges and corners must be very clear, otherwise it will become the effect of chanting and lose the characteristics of vibrato.
5. Forearm vibrato
Forearm vibrato still sounds different from finger vibrato. Its playing method is not to use the movements of the fingers to punch the sound holes, but to use the rapid shaking of the forearm to drive the fingers. The direction of the jitter is perpendicular to the wooden rod, and the fingers vibrate the sound as it repeatedly closes and opens the sound hole. This vibrato has the characteristics of even and dense, and it is also more durable in time. It is often used in passionate passages in performance, especially in the top tone.
There are three things to keep in mind when practicing:
①Don't move your fingers, rely entirely on the movements of your forearm to drive your fingers.
②The fingers can not be lifted too far from the sound hole, just leave it a little.
③ The fingers, wrist and forearm should be kept in a straight line.
