A few days ago, a music event filled with youth and dreams - "Dream - Qin Yuan" strumming concert, blooming in the historic Qingdao Concert Hall, adding an indelible cultural bright color to the city. The young musicians of Qingdao University of Science and Technology Plucked Orchestra, with their enthusiasm and talent, presented a musical feast of traditional charm and modern flavor for the audience, and jointly explored the dream track of youth in the melodious music. The concert kicked off with the classic pipa tune "Snow in the Spring".

The repertoire is classic without innovation, traditional without personality, the fierce and graceful Pipa Wenwu music, the soft beauty and melodious of Jiangnan silk and bamboo, the fashion and vitality of modern style music are vividly displayed under the players' fingertips. Sometimes the music is passionate and loud, such as thousands of horses galloping, the tide is like a rainbow, sometimes graceful and melodious, such as water, sentimental, sentimental, every note seems to have a life, jumping in the air, interweaving, forming a beautiful musical picture.

Inspired by Qingdao landmark sculpture "Wind of May", this work draws on the integration of Shandong folk Yangko tunes, displays the beauty of youth with the melody of empathy, and interprets the connotation of red with the vibrant colors. While encouraging, supporting and cheering for the Chinese youth who will not forget their original intention and 踔厉 in the new era, It shows the traditional folk music and modern spirit of organic integration of different rhyme. The work will appear on the stage of CCTV's "Fenghua Guyue" in 2023. On the stage, the players gently touch the slow twist and pick, the expression is focused and affectionate, as if it has been integrated with the instrument; In the audience, people are immersed in the beautiful and moving notes, or close their eyes and listen to them, or gently click their fingers and resonate with the music, as if the time is frozen in the huge concert hall.

This year coincides with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Qingdao University of Science and Technology Strumming Orchestra, some of the orchestra members who have graduated also appeared on the stage of the concert, and played the melody of "Seeking Dreams · Qin Yuan" with the students and sisters to celebrate the important moment of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the orchestra. Founded in 2014, Qingdao University of Science and Technology Plucked Orchestra is composed of Wang Yiping, pipa teacher of Art College of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and excellent students under his guidance. The orchestra is good at interpreting traditional and contemporary classic works with various artistic forms such as solo, ensemble and chamber music. The members are skilled and cooperate with each other, and all have high artistic attitution and rich artistic experience. Since its establishment, the orchestra has won many awards in various competitions, including the first prize of the sixth and seventh College Student Art Performance in Shandong Province, the original Works Award, the Gold medal of the "Dunhuang Cup" Chinese Pipa Art Elite Performance Group, the Gold medal of the fifth "Qingle Cup" International Pipa Competition Ensemble, and the Gold Medal of the Singapore International Pipa Art Festival Ensemble. Yuefu Liangjian National Music Festival National General Competition Ensemble special gold award and other awards, by the industry and outside the wide acclaim. The "Jiaodong Yangko Wind", "Whirling in May" and "A Silk thread leading across the River" played in this concert are the winning pieces.

The concert specially invited the players of the Eight Jun Chamber Orchestra and the children of the four-string five-tone children's Pipa Orchestra as auxiliary guests, whose exquisite playing skills and pure musical emotions brought more colorful audio-visual experience to the audience. Bajun Chamber Orchestra was founded by eight local Chinese music players in Qingdao. The members graduated from well-known professional music colleges in China, and the teachers are famous. They have their own strengths, excellent skills and professional quality of Chinese music performance. The orchestra has cooperated with many well-known artists in China, and has been invited to participate in the recording of CCTV's "Fenghua Chinese Music" program, which has been well received.
