The Tajik Aichi is the only bow-drawn stringed musical instrument of the Tajik people. Unique shape, crisp sound, can be used for solo, ensemble or singing and dancing accompaniment. Popular in Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and its adjacent areas.

According to legend, this kind of Aiji was first popular in the Tajik Shuognan tribe. In the 1920s, there was a band in the Zognan tribe, who took Ejcze to tour around Taxkorgan. For nearly a hundred years, the structure of Tajik Ayce has not changed much, and it has maintained its unique and magical shape.

When playing the Tajik Aichi, place the qin on the left leg, hold the qin in the left hand to press the strings, and hold the ponytail bow in the right hand and dipped in rosin to play outside the strings. The Tajik Eczech mostly tunes the fourth-degree relationship.

The two strings are tuned as: a, d1; the three strings are: e, a, d1; the four strings are: c, e, a, d1. The articulation is crisp and the tone bright. It can be used for solo, instrumental ensemble or to accompany singing and folk dance, with a strong Pamir plateau style.
