The long tone is the most basic way to play the bamboo flute well and practice luck. It plays an important role in enhancing the strength of the mouth, the control of the breath and the coordination between the two. Before playing the music, you can practice for about ten minutes every day to achieve ease of use.
1) Pitch - When practicing long notes, in addition to paying attention to the accuracy of the scale, it is also important to note that the pitch of each note is consistent from the start to the end, and it cannot be high for a while and low for a while. When blowing low notes, the damper is large and the air is slow, and the "mouth strength" should be relaxed; when blowing high notes, the damper is small and the wind is urgent, and the "mouth strength" should be tightened. The "wind door", "mouth wind" and "mouth strength" can maintain the pitch after the close cooperation of the three.
2) Timbre – the timbre is required to be round and thick when playing the bass; the timbre is required to be crisp and bright when playing the treble to prevent the sound of air leakage.
3) Breathing - Breathing should be natural when playing. How much each time you breathe depends on the length of the phrase. Generally, the long phrases are more inhaled, and the short phrases are less inhaled. It should not be excessive or insufficient, otherwise it will cause the breathing to be hectic and affect the fluency of the playing.
