The Meidu tube body is made of bamboo, and the folks mostly use the local fine bamboo. The tube is as thin as a pen, with a bamboo joint at the beginning of the tube, and the tube body to the end of the tube is transparent. Thin and smooth the tube wall on one side of the bamboo joint of the tube head, and carve a rectangular reed on it with a sharp knife. On the front of the lower half of the tube body, six circular sound holes are sintered with thick iron wire, and there are no back holes.
