A friend of Hu said that his erhu was bought and pulled home for a few days and found that the sound was not good. When I bought this erhu, I tried more than ten erhus one-on-one with the manufacturer. I purchased it after confirming that the sound was satisfactory. Both parties knew the sound before buying. There is no problem. Why did something go wrong after getting it?
When selecting an erhu with a completely normal sound, there may be problems with the hand, such as noise, dullness, sharpness, unevenness, etc., which may be due to the following reasons:
1. When pulling, the string is not pressed firmly, the strength is not enough, or the bow is not stable, the strength is too large or too small, the speed is uneven or too slow, and there will be sharp, uneven or noisy situations.
2. Erhu bow hair lacks rosin, insufficient friction, slips between bow strings, and the sound will be unpleasant, sharp or noisy.
3. Erhu strings are rusted or the surface is damaged will produce noise.
4. The air is too dry, which may also produce noise or sharpness. At this time, it is necessary to use appropriate methods to increase the environmental humidity of the erhu.
5. The air is too humid, or even the body of the erhu is wet, which will cause the sound to be dull.
6. Accidental damage to the piano body during the logistics process will greatly affect the sound of the erhu.
There are other occasional situations that can also cause problems with the sound of the erhu. Therefore, if you are satisfied during the video audition and have problems after purchasing, you should first look for some objective reasons that are easy to solve.
