On the basis of folk Aiji, several improvements have been made to make the vocal range wider.

1. The horsetail strings are changed to four steel strings, and the resonance strings are cancelled, and the sound is relatively pure and clear.

2. The resonance box was changed from a bowl shape to a horizontal oval shape. There was a diaphragm in the middle of the speaker. Between the diaphragm and the tongue-shaped sound hole of the panel, a sound column was added to increase the volume.

3. The joint structure of the handle and the sound box, the fingerboard, the peg, and the pegs have been improved, and the production process is more delicate and beautiful.

4. The bow was changed to a violin bow, and the knob was used to control the tension of the strings.

5. The iron nail pile at the lower end of the instrument is changed into a shovel-shaped support pad, which is placed on the leg to stabilize the body of the instrument and facilitate the stringing and bowing.

The improved high-pitched Aijie has a wide range and a loud sound, which not only retains the sound color of the original instrument, but also has a softer and purer sound quality.
