On the morning of October 7, the fourth "Songting Cup" National Flute Invitational Competition, hosted by Zhejiang Ethnic Orchestra Association and organized by Zhao Songting Flute Art Research Association, officially kicked off the opening ceremony in a group of small flute players' passionate "My Motherland" ensemble.
Dai Yan, the second level inspector of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the secretary of the party committee of social organizations, Jiang Guoji, honorary president of Zhejiang Ethnic Orchestra Society and famous flute player, and Wu Zhanghua, vice president and secretary-general of Zhejiang Ethnic Orchestra Society, attended the launching ceremony and made speeches.
Han Jianlin, President of Zhao Songting Flute Art Research Association, introduced that since its establishment in 2007, "Songting Cup" has successfully held three "Songting Cup" national flute invitational competitions in Hangzhou, Wenling and Cangnan, which has become a high-level event integrating academic, competitive, exhibition and communication. This "Songting Cup" competition received more than 1200 players from 26 provinces and cities, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and other domestic and foreign players, and was divided into 15 groups, including professional group, non professional group, group group, international group and xiao performance group. The previous "Songting Cup" is an offline competition. This "Songting Cup" will be reviewed online for the first time, in which the finals will be broadcast online in groups. In addition to the heavyweight expert jury and supervision, it will also be subject to online supervision. In line with the high level and high standard requirements of "Songting Cup", it will be "open, fair and just". The seminar adheres to the purpose of inheriting and promoting Zhao Songting's flute art, actively promotes academic exchanges, research and creation, and strives to cultivate young and middle-aged flute players of the new generation, making contributions to the promotion and development of flute art.
The opening ceremony was broadcast live through the network, and the failed Shanghai Conservatory of Music Professor Zhan Yongming, China Conservatory of Music Professor Zhang Weiliang, Central National Orchestra Professor Wang Ciheng, Zhejiang Conservatory of Music Professor Du Rusong were broadcast live to send our best wishes to the competition.
At the end of the launching ceremony, President Liu Jiankuan of Zhejiang Ethnic Orchestra Association announced the official launch of the 2022 (Fourth) Songting Cup National Flute Invitational Competition.
