Miao flute, a clarinet gas-sounding instrument. In Miao language, it is called Guolin Dou, "losing eyes". It is popular in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture and northern Guizhou Miao Autonomous Prefecture, mainly including Rongjiang, Congjiang, Leishan and Danzhai in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, Longlin, Xilin, Napo and Rongshui Miao Autonomous County in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Yunnan Province Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture Pingbian Miao Autonomous County and Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and other places.
The tube body is made of bamboo, mostly made of locally produced reed bamboo with long tube details. There is a bamboo joint at the head, and a rectangular blow hole is opened on the inner side under the node. A knife-shaped or triangular copper reed reed is embedded on the tube body. There are three, four, six or seven sound holes in the lower part. The reed is at an angle of 90° with the sound hole. Some have a sound hole at the end.
