The double-pipe muffled flute is a double-reed gas-sounding instrument of the Yi nationality. It is popular in Nanhua and Shuangbai of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province and Nanjian Yi Autonomous County of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture.
The traditional double-pipe muffler is made of two single-pipe small mufflers with the same size, length, hole spacing and pitch tied side by side. The tube body is made of bamboo, and it is mostly made of Phoenix tail bamboo with the thickness of the pen tube.
