The Jue Lie is a single-reed gas-sounding instrument of the Lisu nationality. Popular in Yunnan Province, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Baoshan area and other places.

It is made of bamboo and consists of the main tube and the auxiliary tube tied side by side. The main tube is 29 cm long, the inner diameter of the tube tail is 1 cm, and there is a bamboo joint at the upper end. There is a rectangular blow hole on the side tube wall near the node, and a 20° sharp triangular copper reed is sealed. There are six sound holes in the middle and lower part of the tube body (five in the front and one in the back), the hole spacing is different, and the back hole is the highest sound hole. The length of the auxiliary tube is 20 cm, the inner diameter of the tube tail is 0.6 cm, and the head end is opened with a blow hole, inlaid with a reed, and without a sound hole. The side of the pipe wall adjacent to the main pipe and the main pipe extends to the end of the main pipe. The head (below the blowing hole) and the tail of the two pipes are fastened with silk threads and fixed with yellow wax.
