The Naxi Huqin is a bowed and stringed musical instrument of the Naxi people. Appearance structure

It is made of wood or bamboo, and it is cylindrical. The wooden ones usually use a circular section of catalpa to hollow out the inner core; the bamboo ones usually use a section of moso bamboo with transparent ends. The barrel is 18 cm to 25 cm in length, 10 cm to 16 cm in diameter, and 0.8 cm to 1 cm in wall thickness. The front of the barrel is covered with sheepskin or python skin, and the rear end of the barrel is open.

It is made of wood or bamboo, with a total length of about 70 cm. The wooden ones are mostly made of hard and miscellaneous woods such as red toon and walnut, and the top is carved with a faucet for decoration (pictured); Topless.

peg
There are two shafts on the upper end of the piano bar. The pegs are also called "ears". They are mostly made of boxwood or hardwood. They are conical.
