How to play

To play, when the bow is pushed inward, the first and third strings sound simultaneously; when the bow is pulled outward, the second and fourth strings sound simultaneously.

The tuning of Sixianhu is: a, e1, a1, e2, the range is a-a2, and there are two octaves. The sound is loud, the tone is rich, and the volume is large.

Since the two strings of each group are in an octave relationship, the pronunciation of the Sixianhu is always an octave and two tones, and the sound has different characteristics from other Xiqin stringed instruments. Can be used for solo, ensemble or accompaniment.
