The shape is similar to that of the Yi nationality big sanxian, and it is composed of the qin barrel, the headstock, the qin rod, the peg, the qin horse, the tied strings and the qin strings. Specifications and sizes are different, generally the overall length of the piano body is 80 cm to 100 cm.

piano
Cylindrical shape, the length of the cylinder is 20 cm to 24 cm, and the diameter of the cylinder is 16 cm to 20 cm. The cavity of the cylinder is mostly excavated and chiseled by a whole section of Chinese pine, pine, fir or paulownia, and it is also made of multiple wooden boards spliced and glued together. The square hole that penetrates the piano rod is opened up and down, the front of the barrel is covered with sheepskin, the rear of the barrel is open, and there is no sound window.

headstock, stem
Made from a piece of wax gourd or panzhihua. The upper part of the headstock is the decorative part, the shape is rough and simple, the front is vertical without decoration, but the bottom is thick and the top is thin, and the top is curled back in the shape of a spiral head.

peg
There is a bottom string groove in the middle of the lower part of the headstock, and there are three pegs on both sides (two on the left and one on the right). The pegs are conical and are mostly made of rosewood or boxwood. The piano bar is short and wide, in the shape of a semi-circular cylinder, flat in the front and round in the back.

bridge
Made of wood or bamboo, it is placed in the upper center of the membrane surface of the piano.

Bound strings and strings
Zhang three silk strings, the lower end of the string is tied on the tie string, the tie string is made of lead wire, and no metal rings or pieces are hung on it.

Between the string groove of the violin body and the tail post, a silk or cloth colored strap is tied, and a section is left at each end as a decorative streamer, which can be danced left and right when dancing.
