The Yushi Sanxian is a plucked stringed musical instrument of the Yi people. It consists of a resonator, a headstock, a piano rod, a peg, a bridge and a string. The total length of the piano is about 85 cm.
Resonator
Also known as the piano tube, it is mostly octagonal and is made of eight bamboo boards with the same specifications. (Diagonal) 10 cm to 12 cm, there are square holes for inserting the piano rods up and down, the front of the barrel is covered with red toon wood veneer as a panel, and some are covered with bamboo leaves, the back of the barrel is open, and there is no sound window.
headstock, stem
It is made of a piece of pear wood, walnut wood, tea wood, nanmu wood or other hardwoods. The upper part of the headstock is flat shovel-shaped, wider and thicker, and the top is slightly curved back.
peg
The lower part of the headstock is narrow, with a bottom string groove in the middle, and three hardwood pegs on both sides (two on the left and one on the right). The piano bar is thin and long, in the shape of a semi-circular cylindrical body, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, flat at the front and round at the back. in the hole.
bridge
Bamboo bridge-shaped, placed in the center of the piano barrel.
strings
Zhang three silk strings, the strings are tied to the tail post at the lower end of the qin barrel. Between the string groove of the body and the tail post, a colored strap or string is tied.
