During festivals, in Jingpo Village surrounded by mountains, a gift of Xinjiang is set up on the grounds. In the Jingpo folk wind and percussion band, the gift is the main rhythm instrument. It is also used for the accompaniment of the funeral dance "Beng Dong Dance" (that is, funeral dance). After the death of an elderly Jingpo, young men and women among relatives and friends will go to the deceased's house to dance the "Beng Dong Dance", which lasts all night and is in a continuous stream. Da Zheng and Xiao Zheng played a slow-paced "dong ding dong" sound to express their condolences to the deceased.
