Jia Zheng carried out on-site demonstration teaching of reeds at the Minzu Primary School in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County.
He created the repertoire of the reed ensemble, boldly innovated and tried the reed ensemble performance, and made the reed, a "rural" instrument, into the hall of elegance. At the same time, in order to better inherit the national musical instruments in his hometown, he entered the school and played the role of "inheritor", teaching the performance and teaching methods of reed musical instruments to teachers and guiding students to play. He is the Rongshui Miao nationality in Liuzhou City, Guangxi Jia Zheng, the fifth batch of representative inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of the autonomous county (Rongshui Miao Lusheng music) and Guangxi cultural tourism promotion ambassador.
On August 26, Jia Zheng was invited by Rongshui Miao Autonomous County Minzu Primary School to come to the school to carry out Miao reed music teaching and training activities for music teachers. Jia Zheng described the innovative ideas and teaching methods of Lusheng musical instruments, and conducted on-site demonstration teaching by hand. "I hope this kind of teaching method will enable the teachers of Rongshui National Primary School to teach students the national skills more scientifically and effectively in the future reed teaching." Jia Zheng said.

Like many Miao boys who grew up in cottages, Jia Zheng learned the reeds through his eyes and ears. In 1994, at the age of 14, he walked out of Damiao Mountain blowing reeds and was admitted to the middle school affiliated to Guangxi Art Institute, majoring in Sheng. In 1998, he was recommended to major in Sheng in the Music Department of Guangxi Academy of Arts with honors and began to study Lu Sheng. After graduating from college in 2002, he played the reed and joined the border police force.
In 2009, Jia Zheng won a bronze medal in the national public security system's "Singing for the Motherland" art show with Lusheng solo "Jumping the Slope". In 2012, Jia Zheng participated in the National Public Security and Frontier Defense Forces theatrical performance with the reed solo "Bianzhai Harvest Year" and won the second prize. In 2017, after Jia Zheng retired, in order to better inherit and develop Lusheng, he took up the pointer and served as a specially-appointed Lusheng teacher at the School of Music of Guangxi Academy of Arts and the School of Arts of Guangxi University for Nationalities. In his spare time, he also serves as an intangible cultural heritage instructor for several primary and secondary schools in Nanning.
"In order for reeds to fly out of Miao Village and fly to the world, we must innovate." Jia Zheng said.
Jia Zheng said that his teacher Tan Guowei found in practice that the range and timbre of reeds have great limitations, which not only restricts its potential in the performance of musical works, but also affects its social popularity. After 8 years of trying, Qin Guowei finally succeeded in improving the reed. The reeds improved by Qin Guowei are more flexible in performance.

Jia Zheng obtained the teacher's true biography and guidance. In colleges and universities, Jia Zheng created the reed ensemble repertoire according to the characteristics of the multi-part wind music of the Miao reeds, and boldly innovated and tried the performance of the reeds. Finally, let the reeds go out of the countryside and enter the concert hall of a university in Guangxi, making the reeds, a primitive national musical instrument, in the hall of elegance.
Jia Zheng also combined Miao reeds with ideological and political education, and instructed students to carry out the subject of "Examples of Ideological and Political Education in Local Courses with National Characteristics: Taking the Practice of Miao Reeds as an Example", so that students can understand the basic skills of reeds while learning the basic skills of reeds. The way of cooperation between the various parts of Lusheng can finally better interpret the works, so that students can cultivate their souls and improve their morals.

"Intangible inheritance must keep pace with the times, and only by continuous innovation can it be recognized by the market while maintaining the traditional background." Jia Zheng said that by chance, he was invited by the Rongshui Cultural Center to participate in the grassroots masses in Guangxi. In the cultural performance, he combined the tones of the Miao reeds and created the reed solo "Dahenga" in an easy-to-understand musical language. In 2020, Jia Zheng participated in the 8th Guangxi Grassroots Mass Literary Performance with the reed solo "Dahenga", and finally won the third prize.
