The classification of small guzheng is generally distinguished by the length of the guzheng. The common ones are 80 cm, 85 cm, 90 cm, 100 cm, 116 cm, 120 cm, 125 cm, and 130 cm. Among them, the 116 cm small guzheng has the best sound. .
The difference between the small guzheng and the big guzheng:
1. The length of the big guzheng is 163 cm, with 21 strings, and the length of the small guzheng is 80-130 cm, with 13 strings, 18 strings and 21 strings;
2. Compared with the big guzheng, the small guzheng is small in size, light in weight and easy to carry;
3. The small guzheng has a higher timbre, and is only suitable for practicing fingering, and the sound quality is not as good as the big guzheng.
