Zani, a Tibetan bow and stringed musical instrument. Also known as oxhorn qin, oxhorn hu, and horsetail hu, it is played in a sitting position, with the left hand holding the qin and pressing the strings, and the right hand holding the bow and playing.
This old traditional horn, tuning #c2 or d2, range #c2-b2 or d2-c3. It is played in parallel, and the two-voice unison is actually a kind of single-string ponytail.
The left hand has techniques such as vibrato, glissando, hitting and vibrato, and the right hand has bowing techniques such as slurred and split bows. Mostly used for solo. Folk artists include Lezhibu and Qingzhibu.
Traditional music includes "The Horse Wants to Run", "The Swan Swimming in the Lake", "The Sound of the Mountaintop" and "The Milking Girl".
