"Moon's High" is a well-known ancient Chinese pipa traditional large set of tunes. The date and author of the composition are unknown. It is said that it was composed by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. The earliest existing notation is a piece from the manuscript "Gaohe Jiangdong" in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, which was later adapted into national orchestral music and guzheng music.
