Dulcimer Solo. It was originally a Jiangnan folk song "Three Lanes of Plum Blossoms", which is a different song with the same name as "Three Lanes of Plum Blossoms". "Sanliu" may be the Shanghai dialect homonym of "Three Falls" in the third paragraph of the song "Three Layers of Fallen Plums". The music score was first recorded in "The New Scores of Thirteen Sets of Daqu Pipa of the North-South School" compiled by Li Fangyuan in 1895. It was widely circulated in Jiangnan in the form of silk and bamboo music ensemble. Pipa and Sanxian are often used as the opening music before Pingtan singing, so it is called "Tanci Sanliu". It was adapted by Xiang Zuhua as a dulcimer piece.
