"Leibo Yueqin Tunes" (Liuqin, Ruan Xian Concerto) was performed by Ruan Shichun in 1996, conducted by Zhang Shiye, concerto of China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra, Zhang Shiye and Ruan.

Involving the artist

Ruan Shichun, born in 1949 in a family of architectural designers in Hong Kong, studied wood engineering. He joined the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra in 1974 and has been the Principal of Liuqin since 1987.
