This piece was composed by Jiang Guoji in 1975. Originally called "Silkworm Township Boat Song", it was created based on the tune of the Zhejiang folk song "Liu Yuanlang" as the music material. Vibrant picture.
The whole song consists of three parts, which are reproduced in a trilogy. The beginning of the introduction is a loose melody, slow lyricism, reflecting the uniqueness of Qudi music.
The first part, the slow adagio. The tune is euphemistic and pleasant, and the melody is ups and downs, all in one go, making people feel as if they are in a boat, roaming in the Jiangnan water town, and they are relaxed and happy. The high-pitched melody in the middle is played on a small flute to form a timbre change.
The second part, the Allegro. The music entered a cheerful allegro, the melody changed from the previous 4/4 time to 2/4 time, and the flute was changed to F. The music is emotional and full of life interest, and the jumping melody and fast running sentences make the music full of vigor and vitality.
In the third part, the melody returns to the lyrical adagio, reproducing the first four phrases in the first part and ending the whole piece with a slowed down ending.
This piece is played by three pan flutes, which are C flute, F flute, and C flute.
