Ding Xiaokui's wind and band "Divine Comedy" comes from the album "Music Book: Bamboo Flute - Ding Xiaokui".

This is a wind concerto based on a group of sacred songs "Nine Songs" written by Qu Yuan on the basis of popular Chu folk songs and myths and legends. The music uses a variety of national wind instruments such as pan flute, xun, bass flute, bang flute, xiao, and shakuhachi. The vivid depiction of the gods of heaven, earth, mountains and rivers in the original work is reproduced, the rich timbre contrast and the creative use of various wind music techniques make the music elegant, free and easy, rough and vigorous. Especially with modern creative techniques, the different timbres of various musical instruments are closely related to the body of the music, just like Qu Yuan's poems, full of romanticism. The whole piece is divided into three movements: the first movement: Heavenly Emperor, River God. The second movement: mountain ghosts, national mourning. The third movement: Ritual Soul.
