Fan Lin's organ and xiao ensemble "Pingsha Falling Geese" is from the album "Music: Bamboo Flute".
Falling wild geese in the flat sand is one of the [Eight Views of Xiaoxiang]. The song depicts a tranquil and graceful ink painting—the dusk is approaching, the misty Dongting Lake is surrounded by white sand, serene and tranquil, and it is misty like frost. A group of geese flew from afar, hovering in the air and roaring. A few of them landed on it first, raised their heads and chirped in response to the flyers in the air, and then the geese gathered their wings and flew down one by one. With brush strokes like ink and wash, the music outlines the vast and magnificent scenery of the Autumn River in nature. Involving the artist
Fan Linfeng started learning bamboo flute at the age of 5 with Zhu Yinzhao and Wang Guoqiang, his hometown flute teachers. In 2002, he began to learn from the famous flute player, associate professor Tang Junqiao. In 2004, he was admitted to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School, majoring in bamboo flute.
