"Asr" is a colloquial abbreviation for "Asruwender" in Mongolian, originally meaning "extremely high". It now refers to a traditional instrumental music that originated from court banquets in the Yuan Dynasty and has been passed down to this day. Its meaning includes praising the great achievements of the Holy Lord Genghis Khan, thanking his parents for their nurturing, and so on. This piece is composed of a combination of three "Aser" pieces. Among them, "White Banner Aser" and "Gul Chagan Aser" are widely circulated in the Xilingol region, while "Ming'an Banner Aser" is a variety of variations adapted to local conditions. At this moment, Huo Busi uses clear and transparent string notes to interpret the simple and elegant music, and the pure style of Mongolian court music with a strong grassland atmosphere.
