Spring in Hometown
Composer: Fang Longzhe Nationality: Korean Region: Jilin
Transverse Flute: Lee Eun-hee
Dulcimer: Pu Haiyan
Gayageum: Choi Mi-sun
Changgu: Xu Jilong
Gayageum lightly played, transverse flute played a soft and continuous melody, like a warm spring breeze, in a green field, the face blowing. The addition of Changgu makes the music style change from soothing to lively and cheerful, brimming with the bright hope for the future in the season of grass and nightingalers. Composed by Fang Longzhe, a famous Yanbian composer, in 1981, the music uses the Shapuliying rhythm and the Andan rhythm of Korean traditional music to depict the light and charming posture of a spring girl, expressing the author's love and longing for his hometown.
